Cold Blooded Creatures at the Museum of Discovery

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Jan. 4, 2008) – Did you know that snakes are completely deaf or that all fish have backbones? Find out fascinating facts about cold-blooded creatures of all shapes and sizes at the Museum’s annual event, Cold Blooded Creatures, Jan. 24-26.

Cold-Blooded Creatures allows visitors to see animals rarely displayed and learn about others found in their backyards. Museum staff, along with members of the Central Arkansas Herpetological Society, will present programs on different species of animals classified as “cold-blooded” including lizards, snakes and alligators. Museum educators will also teach visitors about the animals’ behavior and environment.

Program Times:
Thursday and Friday: 10:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Saturday: 11:30 a.m., 1:00 and 3:00 p.m.
