Themed Party
Price: $180 members/$200 non-members

Themed parties are perfect for children 4 to 12 years. Fee includes a $50 non-refundable deposit. Members receive a 10% discount on all parties and Explore Store purchases. Reservations are required at least two weeks in advance. Each party is two hours in length and will be hosted by a specially trained staff member. Party guests will enjoy a tour of the Museum, fun crafts and hands-on experiments.

Themed parties include:

• Admission for up to 16 children (each additional child is $10)
• Private party room
• An specially trained museum staff member to lead you and your guests in the many activities and crafts designed for your themed party
• Free all day admission to explore the Museum on the day of your party
• Drinks, plates, forks, napkins
• Treat bags for each child

Pirates of the Museum

Don’t miss this fun-filled adventure. The birthday boy or girl serves as the Pirate Captain as he/she leads the other pirates in search of a treasure that was stolen and stashed by the infamous Black Beard. The pirates will follow a treasure map throughout the Museum to locate the hidden treasure. Once found, the treasure will be returned to its rightful owners, but not before the birthday pirates are allowed to keep a portion as a reward. Guests will make will make pirate themed crafts, play pirate games and even get a visit from a live animal.

Fairy Tales Imagine living in a world of dragons and fairies. This dream comes alive as you become king or queen of a fairy tale land. Listen to a fairy tale story and participate in magical experiments. Craft time is fun - girls make a mystical fairy while boys make a shield. Let your imagination guide you and your friends through a land of endless possibilities. You might even see your favorite fairy tale animals.

Indian Animal Tales Your Indian Chief or Princess will love hearing magical Native American tales about rabbits, opossums and other wild creatures. Enjoy storytelling around an Indian tepee and make Indian pottery!

Have a special party already planned but looking for a fun place to host it? Rent our party room! Party rate includes private room for two hours and admission into the Museum for up to 20 people. Each additional individual is $5.00.
