5K Run/Walk       1K Family Fun Run

Don’t miss the 9th annual Dino Dash & Discovery Fest on Saturday, May 31 in the River Market District.  Dino Dash is a 5K walk/run and a 1K family fun run. After the race, cool down at Discovery Fest.  All ages will enjoy live music, food, games and prizes.  All proceeds from Dino Dash & Discovery Fest benefit the Museum of Discovery.

 

What are the entry fees?

  • $15 for teams of 5+ people.  Registrations must be mailed together and postmarked by May 3.
  • $20 for individuals postmarked by May 3
  • $25 for all entries postmarked after May 3

 

Where can I register?

  • Register ONLINE (online registration ends May 28 at 5pm)

 What do I receive with my registration?

  • 2008 Dino Dash t-shirt (guaranteed to first 750 race registrants)
  • Free admission to Museum of Discovery on race day
  • runners bag filled with goodies

 

Where and when does the 5K or 1K begin?

The 5K begins at 8 a.m. and the 1K begins at 9 a.m.

Can I pick up my t-shirt and runner’s bag prior to race day?

All team packets should be picked up by the team captain at the Museum May 19-21 from 9a.m. – 5 p.m. 

 

Individual race packets can be picked up at the Museum, May 29-30 from 9a.m. – 6 p.m. or on race day from 6:30 - 7:45 a.m.

 

Can I volunteer or sponsor Dino Dash?

Are there age limits for the 5K or 1K races?

Anyone over 5 years old can register for the 5K race.  All ages are welcome to participate in the 1K race and all ages 1-10 receive a medal and a dino prize at the finish line.  Medals and prizes will be awarded to male/female winners in various age categories for the 5K race and top finishers in the 1K race.
