After School Drum Ballet at the Museum of Discovery

Little Rock, AR (Jan. 18, 2008) – Join students from the award winning “Drum Ballet” for a cultural performance as the Museum of Discovery presents the “After School Drum Ballet,” Feb. 7-9.  This moving performance couples movement, rhythm and the historical significance of the drum.

The performing students from Hope, Ark., practice the art of drumming at an after-school program.  The program, led by Zinese Aggine, is filled with imagination and expressive storytelling.   The drum ballet is a series of rhythms that combine hand and body movements to present a very entertaining performance piece.
